I do it all for you…

If you didn't know, I seriously do it all for you!

The act of exploring and visually responding with creativity is deeply nourishing for me, but the whole purpose of it is to show the feeling of being in that place with you! Humble appreciation and fascination for this life and our environment are integral to how I live in this world, and I consider this way of living to be one of my greatest gifts to give.

I've been inching away at this (close to home) landscape over the past week. It's a BIG Canvas and I'm enjoying the process of bringing it to life. There is still a ways to go but I wanted to go ahead and share the progress.

The earth colors used in this painting are quiet, similar to the calmness felt being there. My intention is that it feels like the muddy water is about to crash onto your own feet!
