Form & Space - moving back to basics

39 days into Spring. Have I found my one true visual language? No, lol. But here’s what I made this week and the current temperature of my thoughts.

ALSO - The green apple is not mine, but belongs to my favorite 10 year old Dany - however, I did show her my process to get those results so I’m including it in the weekly roundup.

A lot of littles from life to practice rendering form and color - and also just because this week has been CRAZY busy and I felt like that’s all I could handle. But on the days I had more time, I’ve been playing with interior compositions that break space apart in interesting ways. And trying to mix space and pattern with movement and form.

Funny, I started this project wanting to move into more imaginative work - but I just keep painting my life….
