Spring Challenge

It’s the first day of spring. Tis’ the season for growth and revival!

The Spring Season is 93 days long - March 21 - June 20.

I’m sure you’ve heard of 100 day projects or painting a day challenges. I’ve always been reluctant to participate in them because my creative process is MESSY, NOT PRETTY, and FRAGMENTED!

However, this spring I am committing to cultivating my creative ideas by making a new piece of art every day of the Spring season. My goal with this project is to lean into more imaginative work and build my visual universe of symbols and motifs.

Using past works as little doorways into more experiments, expect a painting (or sculpture) a day! Rain or shine, good or bad, I’ll share the work and try to keep the excuses to a minimum! ;)

I hope by doing this, I create a ritual of developing new ideas and inspire you to challenge and grow as well. Whatever your goal is, and no matter how much time you have - little by little, change happens. It’s been true for every single thing in my life and I have faith that this will be no different.

I’d be honored if you came with me on this little adventure! I’m inviting you into the rabbit hole. (and yes, there will be some bunny paintings…)

Follow me here on Instagram to watch this new visual universe unfold.

Happy Spring 1st! :)
